Animals
The museum is building a wing of animals, from the giants of long ago to the last of their kind. Until it opens, each page here answers one question: how big was this animal? Our own picture puts it beside a person of 1.70 m, to one scale, with the numbers and what they rest on.
Museum of Ages is a digital museum. Open today is the Leonardo da Vinci wing. Free entry, no account.

How big was megalodon?
About 16 m (52 ft) by the one long backbone ever found, the largest perhaps about 20 m. Beside a person, a great white and a blue whale.
